Sharp was born from Rochester, New York, Sharp was an avid musician and studied clarinet the piano, cello, and clarinet at the prestigious Hochstein School of Music. The Boston Conservatory offered her an award for the theatre classes at her school. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. Sharp chose to make a move into theater after completing her Cum Laude degree with a B.F.A. Sharp was a part of The Broadway National Tour of Carousel and made her debut Off Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. In the interactive comedy Eat the Runt, she was a variety of characters. Other theatre productions include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp performed alongside the playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp has been working on screen as well as the stage, is currently involved in a variety of original projects. A complete recording is currently being planned. Sharp also continues to sing. Sharp is a fan of exercise. She keeps herself fit through training in boxing, learning Krav Maga, and taking long roadtrips. Sharp lives in Los Angeles.
