Sharp is an Rochester native who studied clarinet in the Hochstein School of Music. Also, she played piano and cello. She received a full scholarship for The Boston Conservatory for her love of school theatre. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp's first focus was the stage. Sharp was a part of her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel, debuted Off-Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and played eight different roles in the hilarious comedy Eat the Runt. Sharp is also a part of Abyssinia as well as Aida as well as Thunder Knockin, Jitney as well as The Producers. She was even a reader for August Wilson's Come and Gone. Sharp is developing several new projects, including screenplays and plays. Sharp is currently developing her first studio album. Sharp enjoys exercise. She stays fit by training in boxing, learning Krav Maga, and taking long trips on the road. Sharp lives in Los Angeles, California with her family.
