Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian performer, actress and musician. The majority of her work comes involved in Tamil or Malayalam films. Her first appearance as an actor was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam in addition to her Malayalam d but with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was raised in a Tamil Nadu Anglo-Indian family. Andrea's father was a Madras High Court lawyer. Her younger sister is who is a resident of Leuven Belgium as researcher assistant. Jeremiah lived in the vicinity of Chennai and was a student at National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea started classes in classical piano when she was eight, has been called a "geek" and wanted to become a psychiatrist until her board exam in 12th grade. Young Stars is a Jackson Five style group that was her first group in the age of 10 that was the basis of her music and singing career. She was also a theatre student at her school and performed in a variety of stage plays organised by The Madras Players and EVAM. Andrea was president of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea's career started with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. She acted in new leo coffee advertisement alongside the actor Shiva in 2006. She also acted as a part of a character in the Podhigai series. She acted throughout India. She appeared in a small performance at the close of Kanda Mudhal 2005. After she rendered a song in Gautham Vasudev Menon's film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiya he asked her to play as the main female characters in his next venture Pachaikili Muthucharam. This film was a film adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed, with Andrea as Kalyani who is a housewife her husband who is caught in an affair and is threatened with blackmail. Andrea was chosen for the part after Simran and Tabu, two actresses who were approached by producers. The film was released in the early part of 2010 In 2011 she agreed to perform a small supporting character in Venkat Prabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha which came out in August 2011. Annayum Rasoolum is a romantic movie by Rajeev ravi which was released in 2013, was the actress's Malayalam debut.
