Annie Murphy
Annie Murphy (n e Anne Frances Murphy) was born December 19th, 1986. She hails from Canada and works in the Hollywood film industry where she did many projects. Her most well-known work is portraying the role of Alexis Rose in the CBC sitcom television series Schitt's Creek started in 2015 and ended in the year 2020. Her performance was praised by critics, and she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. Her birthplace was within Ottawa Ontario Canada. The parents of her were employed as instructors. She joined Elmwood School in Ottawa where the stage was where she appeared in productions. Her next step was to apply for admission at Concordia University and pursue a stage performance diploma. After that, she took classes at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory in which she studied acting. When she was 22, she moved her family to Los Angeles where acting became her profession. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 when she appeared on the television crime thriller film Lethal Obsession. She then continued acting in small and additional roles in various movies. Some of them are popular like Story of Jen which was made in the year 2008, Lick was released in the year 2010 and another hit A Windigo Tale which was released during the same year. In addition, she has participated in Canadian series including Good God which was broadcast in the year 2012 Rookie Blue that aired the following year.
