Coleman is a Lancashire native. She was educated at Arnold School in Blackpool. As headgirl, she earned straight A marks in her A Levels. In a discussion about her appearance on Emmerdale, Coleman admitted she was regretting that she did not go to University. Coleman participated in a club called In Yer Space at her school. They was in the stage production Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. The show also received an enthusiastic reception. Coleman was awarded the award for her outstanding performance. Coleman won the Emmerdale role Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with Drama schools. Coleman got two nominations in 2007. Coleman received two nominations in 2007: Best Newcomer for the British Soap Awards; and the most Popular Newcomer for the National Television Awards. In the British Soap Awards of 2009 she was nominated under the categories of Best Actress and Sexiest female in addition to Best Dramatic Acting. Coleman received a nomination for Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who announced in a news event on 21st march 2012, that Coleman will be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat said that he chose Coleman for the role of companion due to her ability to be the best companion for Smith. Also, Moffat noted that she spoke faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been working on the scene for more than 30 years and is associated in a variety of TV and film projects. She has been much prominent on TV as opposed to films. Eva has appeared in a number of television characters, however the roles of Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children and Detective Natalia Boa Vistas from CSI Miami have stood out. The first role she played on TV earned her 2 Daytime Emmy nominations, and allowed her to develop her passion for music. Eva is an entrepreneur as well as an actress. Eva has had three marriages and also has a daughter with her previous husband.
