Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast widely regarded as one of the best athletes. Biles was the very first gymnast from the United States to ever win four gold medals at a single Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to ever win successive World All-Around championships. Biles was raised in Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where she and her sister Adria had been adopted by grandparents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was first drawn to gymnastics while she was only six years old. Coach Aimee Borman invited her to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them for a field trip. Biles was awarded silver and gold medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 on the floor and vault before her debut in 2011 with the elite category of competition. In just two short years, she had become the most successful athlete in her discipline. Biles's consistency, her exuberant personality and the level of challenge for her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise as well as floor exercise -- set her apart.
