Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer and activist for animal rights. The actress has won praise by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she was raised in an artistic environment. She began as a photo assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. She received an award called the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 movie Love Story was an international hit, earning her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. She was named the best female box-office actress in the globe after just three releases. Handprints, signatures and footprints were engraved in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw is divorced three times.
